INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION DATA OF AHP MERKLE GMBH

The data received from you (family name, first name, company, ZIP code/place, phone number, email address) will be used by AHP Merkle GmbH for the purpose of contacting interested parties. This may involve the dispatch of desired information material or the preparation of an offer. 

AHP Merkle will not submit your data to a third country or third persons, except in cases where our own processors are involved.

If you require information on the data which we have received from you and is stored by us, please notify the contact person listed below (see contact data). The relevant information will be submitted to you as soon as possible in a format corresponding to the current state of the art. In the event that your data contains any mistakes, you are entitled to have it corrected. On completion of the contract period, you also are entitled to block the further use of your data by AHP Merkle GmbH. In this case, AHP Merkle will inform any third parties involved in the context of implementing the contract of your wish to delete your data.  

Should you have any objections regarding AHP Merkle GmbH's handling of the data collected about you, you have the option of contacting the relevant supervisory authority in this regard (see the section on rights of affected persons).

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

We are highly committed to protecting personal data and thus your privacy. In the following, we would like to inform you about the consequences for you when using our personalized services and how we ensure your data is protected. In order to ensure optimum protection of your privacy, it goes without saying that we comply with all legal data protection regulations.

PERSONAL DATA

Personal data is information regarding your identity. This includes, but is not limited to, information such as name, address, telephone number, email address. You do not have to provide personal data to be able to use our website. In certain instances, however, you will have to provide us with your name and address and further information, so that we can provide the requested services.

Furthermore, we need such data in order to send you informative literature and any goods you have ordered or to reply to individual requests. You will always be notified by us in case we need such data. In addition to that, we only save and process data which you have provided to us voluntarily or automatically. Any further data requested by us is voluntary information. Personal data will only be processed for the purposes of fulfilling the requested offers and of safeguarding own legitimate business interests.

INTENDED PURPOSE OF PERSONAL DATA

Any personal data provided by you will be used to reply to your requests, to process your orders or to provide you with access to certain information or offers. We will neither sell to any third parties nor market your personal data in any other way.

USE FOR A SPECIFIC PURPOSE

Any personal data provided by you online, will only be collected, processed and used for the purposes communicated to you. Your personal data will never be transferred to any third parties unless you have given your consent. Personal data will only be collected and transferred to any government agencies entitled to receive such data to the extent permitted by applicable law or to the extent we are obliged to do so because of a court decision. Our employees and any service providers engaged by us are bound to secrecy and to comply with the provisions of the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz).

NON-PERSONAL DATA WHICH ARE COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY

When you use our webpages, the following data will be stored for organizational and technical reasons: the names of the viewed pages, of the browser used, and of the operating system, date and time of access, search engines used, names of the downloaded files and your IP address. We will utilize such technical data anonymously and only for statistical purposes to continuously optimize our internet presence and to make our website even more attractive. These anonymous data will be stored separately from any personal information on secure systems and cannot be retraced to an individual person. This means that your personal data and your privacy are protected at any time.

CHILDREN

Persons under the age of 16 should not transfer any personal data to us without the consent of their parents or legal guardians. We never request personal data from children and adolescents nor collect or transfer such data to third parties. The only exception to this rule is active requests or applications for an internship or a future apprenticeship at AHP Merkle. A declaration of consent signed by a parent or legal guardian is required for interested parties under 16 years of age. For more information on this, please refer to the section on “Applications”.

Should you use external links which are provided within our webpages, this Data Privacy Statement will not apply to those links. When providing links, we make every effort to ensure that these will also comply with our data protection and safety standards. However, we do not have any influence on compliance with the data protection and safety standards by other providers. Therefore, please review the third parties’ data protection statements provided on their websites.

We use such links to Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ on our website. 

YOUTUBE

Use of the YouTube embedding function occurs in the so-called extended data protection mode. Since no personal data is supplied, no further data protection measures are required here.

USE OF SPECIFIC SERVICES OF OUR WEBSITE

Certain services (newsletter, registration for training courses, etc.) require personal data to be collected. To this end, only the data required for the particular purpose will be collected and the legal retention periods will be observed.

NEWSLETTER SUBSCRIPTION

We offer you a newsletter, free of charge, to inform you of current topics at AHP Merkle. It includes, for example, our training calendar and information on new products. This newsletter is distributed via Inxmail GmbH, which receives your email address from our ERP system for this purpose. Inxmail GmbH has signed a contract data processing agreement with AHP Merkle pursuant to the EU-GDPR. The data received by Inxmail GmbH are processed by them solely for the purposes of the contractually described order processing. 

We use anonymous tracking procedures which permit no conclusions whatsoever concerning any specific newsletter subscribers to analyze the information received. 

In connection with the newsletter, you also automatically have the possibility of prohibiting the use of your email address for other dispatches. In this case, the use of your email address by AHP Merkle as well as by Inxmail GmbH will be prevented (opt-out).

EXISTING CUSTOMERS

As an existing customer of AHP Merkle, you will continue to receive the newsletter until you make use of the attached objection option. 

NEW CUSTOMER OR NEW SUPPLIER

You will receive the newsletter after being registered as a new customer or new supplier only if you have given your consent. The double opt-in version that enables legal recording of the registration is used for this purpose.

CUSTOMER ACCOUNT

Person data is required to maintain a customer account. The required data is marked with an asterisk “*” in the registration. By registering, you acknowledge that such data will be used for maintaining your account.

CAD DRAWINGS / 3D MODELS

To optimize our web-based services, you now have the option of downloading CAD drawings and 3D models from our website. You will be redirected to the website of the external provider Cadenas GmbH for this purpose. Their processing of the personal data you provide when using this service is specified in the data privacy statement of Cadenas GmbH.

APPLICATIONS

The following personal data is processed for the application process, which can be initiated by mail or via email at bewerbung@ahp.de: First name, last name, mailing address, email address, telephone number (fixed and/or mobile), application letter and attachments, special attachments designated by statutory requirements. This data will be used only for application procedures. It will be forwarded to the responsible division head for this purpose. The data is always deleted 3 months after the completion of the application process. If you conclude a contract with us following your application, this data will be entered in your personnel file. The handling of data submitted by minors under 16 years of age was described separately in the section on “Children”.

PAYMENT AND CREDIT CHECK 

We pass on your payment data to the authorized credit institute in order to process payments. In order to safeguard our legitimate interests, we obtain credit checks from Euler Hermes (Hamburg subsidiary) and Creditform, if necessary. Your legitimate interests will be considered pursuant to the provisions of the law.

DELIVERY OF GOODS

Your data is forwarded to the shipping company charged with delivery, insofar as this is necessary to deliver the goods.

  

INFORMATION ABOUT SPECIFIC COOKIES

Our website uses different types of cookies to analyze the usage of the website and to advertise the products in a targeted way. To this end, we use technologies from various providers (e.g. Google).

Google Analytics uses various types of cookies. These can change over time. That is why we summarize the usage of Google Analytics in the following.

Via Google Analytics, data, sessions, and interactions across several devices can be allocated to a pseudonymous user ID. Thereby, user activities can be analyzed across multiple devices.

Via cookies, which are text files saved on your computer, your use of this website will be analyzed. We use the function “IP anonymization”. Therefore, the data will be processed in an EU member state or in another country which is a signatory to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA). In exceptional cases, the full IP address will be transmitted to a server in the USA and truncated there. The IP address communicated by your browser in relation to Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google. Google will, on our behalf, utilize the transmitted data and provide us with reports on the website activities and usage. In addition to that, Google will provide further services related to the usage of the website and the internet usage. This purpose reflects our legitimate interest in the processing of the data. The legal basis in this regard is §15(3) German Teleservices Act and Art. 6(1)(F) GDPR. All data collected by cookies in this manner will be deleted automatically once a month after a period of 14 months.

You can configure the management of the cookies via the settings in your browser software. 

Via the opt-out cookie (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de), you can prevent the data from being processed by Google. To this end, you need to download and install the browser add-on. If you wish this to apply to multiple devices, you will need to install this add-on on all devices.
